Located in the heart of Dallas’ historic Farmers Market District, Cortland Farmers Market brings together warehouse-inspired architecture and modern urban living. Our team provided structural engineering services for this 7-story, 220-unit residential development, designed with five levels of Type IIIA wood-frame construction over a two-level Type IA concrete podium.
Supporting over 199,000 square feet of residential space and nearly 19,000 square feet of amenities—including a 16,600+ square foot elevated pool deck and internal courtyard—required a coordinated structural strategy that maximized building efficiency and long-term durability.
We worked closely with the design team to deliver a structure that not only complements the site’s industrial aesthetic but also supports luxury amenities such as a sky deck lounge, elevated pool, and rooftop common areas—all within a dense urban footprint.
Cortland Farmers Market is a prime example of how thoughtful structural design can shape the skyline while elevating the resident experience.
