At opposite corners of downtown Austin, Block 36 and West 12th construction are progressing well.  Urban Structure continues to grow our footprint in Austin and expanding our local Austin office.  We now provide civil engineering services with our local Austin team along with our growing local structural team.

The Aster Tower is complete and opened this past week for luxury high rise living in the Turtle Creek area of Dallas.  We are excited to see another successful project completed with Owner/Developer Toll Brothers and Architect WDG.

We are happy to announce that Urban Structure’s Civil department officially opens in Austin next week.  Although we will miss seeing Davit and Nick in our Dallas office daily, we are more than excited for them to bring our civil engineering expertise to the Austin market.  The future of civil engineering excellence in Austin starts now.

Block 36 in Austin Topped Out making progress

Transwestern’s development of Block 36 in Austin along I-35 and 3rd Street.  Great design by Wilder-Belshaw working around numerous constraints including Austin’s Capital View Corridor and the expansion of the Waller Creek trails.

The Derby Roosevelt tower in Phoenix is progressing in the foreground.  From the tower crane, we can see another great project with the Transwestern and Wilder Belshaw team completing phase 2, The Portait at Hance Park.  Kudos to our Austin office, lead by Michael Hoskings, who managed both projects.

Urban Structure is proud to announce we have added an in-house Survey Department to support our Civil Department and better serve our clients.  We welcome Jeff Montanya to our team as lead of Survey for Urban Structure.  Contact us to inquire about these services.

As we all are dealing with this virus spread, Urban Structure is doing our part of social distancing as well. Our staff are all set up to work remotely from their homes and still collaborate with the office as a whole as well as with our clients and colleagues. Calls to our office are automatically routed to the staff member’s cell phone you are trying to reach. If you have any trouble reaching any of our staff during this time, please call me directly at 214-738-8982.

The Derby Roosevelt Tower being developed by Transwestern is set to break ground at the beginning of the year. Located in downtown Phoenix, this luxury residential tower will house 21 stories of residences and parking, a ground level restaurant, pool amenity deck and a rooftop sky lounge with spectacular views of the city. Urban Structure is proud to be part of the design team with Wilder Belshaw Architects. It has been some time in the making and we look forward to seeing this project become a reality.

Urban Structure Receives 2019 Dallas Award

Dallas Award Program Honors the Achievement

DALLAS December 22, 2019 — Urban Structure has been selected for the 2019 Dallas Award in the Professional Services category by the Dallas Award Program.
Each year, the Dallas Award Program identifies companies that we believe have achieved exceptional marketing success in their local community and business category. These are local companies that enhance the positive image of small business through service to their customers and our community. These exceptional companies help make the Dallas area a great place to live, work and play.
Various sources of information were gathered and analyzed to choose the winners in each category. The 2019 Dallas Award Program focuses on quality, not quantity. Winners are determined based on the information gathered both internally by the Dallas Award Program and data provided by third parties.
